Just another reminder, the Penguin Plunge Fursuiting event is less than two weeks away.
Takes place March 3rd (Saturday) from 10am to 1230pm at the Polish Falcon's Lodge in Middletown Connecticut, right by Crystal Lake (and for those familiar, very close to where the first FurFright took place). They will have the same changing area as last time, basically a curtained off area in the lodge (it will get crowded in there around 1030 or so, we should be changed and outside the building by then).
There will be tv and radio crews there, the CT Secretary of State Sue Byseiwiez will be lending her support for the charity by attending as well.
These directions were provided by the event coordinator:
From 91 North take exit 15. At end of ramp go right onto Rte 68. Follow 68 to end. Go left on rte 17. Follow approximately 4 miles. Go right on Randolph Road (Rte 155). Take right onto Millbrook Road. Take third right on Prout Hill Road. The Pavilion on Crystal Lake is on the top of the hill on the left.
From rt. 91 South take exit 22(s) (Rte 9 South). From Rte 9 south take exit 11 (Randolph Road) At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Randolph Road. Take the first left after the firehouse onto Millbrook Road. Take the third right onto Prout Hill Road. The Pavilion on Crystal Lake is on the top of the hill on the left.
If you need to do a search on your own for directions, look up 144 Prout Hill Road, Middletown Connecticut. It's at the lodge near the edge of the lake.
Primarily we will need fursuiters, any who think they can attend please respond to this post. I need to give the director a headcount early next week (at least a close estimate on how many will attend).
